SYMPTOMS OF FAULTY INTELLIGENT SERVO MODULE

• Car struggles to start.
• Gears on the car won't change.
• high revs per minute.
• A cluster light dims.
• Due to a breakdown in communication with the Transmission Control Module, the vehicle won't start.
• Data including errors from the actuator motor in the Intelligent Servo Module component A80 (ISM)
• Car shakes a lot while it is idling.

Other symptoms include car not shifting gears between P, R, N, or D. ISM in full Intelligent Servo Module’s main purpose is that it enables the system to read the selected drive position via electrical signals and to engage the drive position via a mechanical interface on the transmission.
